Real Madrid’s summer signing, Kylian Mbappe, expressed his joy after scoring his first goal for the club.
The French captain made his debut for Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final against Atalanta on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old netted Real Madrid’s second goal in their 2-0 victory over the Serie A side in Poland.
Speaking to Movistar Futbol after securing his first trophy with Real Madrid, Mbappe shared his excitement:
“It has been a great night. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time, to play with this shirt, with this badge, for these fans. It’s a great moment for me. And we won a title, which is important. In Madrid, you always have to win.”
