In a scathing assessment, All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart Alhaji (Dr) Ilyasu Musa Kwankwaso has predicted the demise of alleged plans by Alhaji Atiku Abubakar (PDP), Peter Obi (Labour Party), and Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (NNPP) to form a new party or alliance ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, Kwankwaso attributed the predicted failure to the group’s past experiences and individual ambitions.
“Their past alliances crumbled under the weight of personal ambitions, and history will repeat itself,” Kwankwaso stated. “None is willing to step down, and ego-centric interests will hinder success.”
Kwankwaso expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s re-election prospects, citing the APC’s unwavering support.
The APC stalwart also commended the Federal Government’s directive to tackle banditry and terrorism in Sokoto State, urging Nigerians to pray for President Tinubu’s success.
The development comes amidst speculation about potential alliances ahead of the 2027 elections.
