PDP chieftain congratulates Oyo Speaker on appointment

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo, Hon. Ogunsola Olusina John on Tuesday congratulated Oyo State House Of Assembly speaker, Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin as the newly elected Chairman of the Congress of Nigeria Speakers.

Hon. Ogunsola in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo, described Ogundoyin as a man of pedigree who has the ability and capability to man the position.

He however charged his members to cooperate with him to make the Congress of Nigerian speakers more virile.

Ogunsola, a former House of Representatives aspirant from Oluyole Federal Constituency described Ogundoyin as a man of good character and a man from an enviable background whose recent appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, dedication, and unwavering commitment to public service.

“Adebo’s emergence as the Chairman of such a prestigious organization is a clear recognition of his expertise and the trust that his colleagues from across the country have placed in him. It reflects his remarkable ability to foster unity, collaboration, and effective governance among the speakers of various state houses of assembly in Nigeria.

“As the Chairman of the Congress of Speakers, you now have a unique opportunity to shape the discourse on legislative matters, promote inter-state cooperation, and work towards the betterment of Nigeria as a whole. Your wealth of experience gained during your tenure as the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly will undoubtedly prove invaluable in this new role.”

He thereafter expressed his confidence that the Congress of Speakers will thrive, and its members will benefit from the guidance, vision, and innovative ideas of Rt. Hon. Adebo Edward Ogundoyin affirms that he has ability to listen, engage, and find common ground that will be instrumental in fostering a culture of inclusivity and progress within the organisation.
