The Eze Ndigbo of Ibadanland and President, Non-Indigenes Traditional Council of Ibadan and Oyo State, Dr. Alex Anozie is dead.
Dr. Anozie, aged 74 died in his sleep on Tuesday at his Ososami residence, Ibadan, Oyo state.
A close associate and palace aide of the Olubadan of Ibadanland who craved anonymity told Nigerian Tribune that the deceased did not manifest any sign of sickness.
He said the deceased lived his life in Ibadan and contributed immensely to the economic growth of the ancient town.
His remains, as reliably informed has been taken to his Country home, Igboukwu in Aguata Local Government area, Anambra state for final burial.
He was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of CONAC Optical Company Ibadan.
