Tinubu changes heads of parastatals in Information Ministry

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight new chief executive officers for parastatals and agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

A statement issued on Thursday by Ajuri Ngelale announced Mr Lanre Issa-Onilu as the Director-General and CEO of the National Orientation Agency (NOA).

Others appointed include Mr Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos as Director-General/CEO of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Dr Muhammed Bulama as Director-General/CEO of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Mr Charles Ebuebu as Director-General/CEO of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Mr Jibrin Baba Ndace as Director-General/CEO of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), Dr Lekan Fadolapo as Director-General/CEO of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Mr. Ali Muhammed Ali as Managing Director/CEO of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), and Mr. Dili Ezughah as Executive Secretary/CEO of the Nigerian Press Council (NPC).

The statement added that President Tinubu has tasked the newly appointed leaders in the information sub-sectors with innovating and creating new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage through the effective reform of these key government institutions.

These institutions aim to unify our people, reshape mindsets, and showcase this great nation to the rest of the world.

By the president’s directive, these appointments take immediate effect.”
