Gov Kefas congratulates new Auditor General

Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, expressed his appreciation on Saturday for the appointment of Mr. Shaakaa Kanyitor Chira as the substantive Auditor General of the Federation by President Bola Tinubu.

In a statement released in Jalingo and signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Digital Communication, Mr Emmanuel Bello, Governor Kefas described the appointment as a significant success story for Taraba State and the entire nation.

According to the statement, the appointment of Mr. Chira, a native of Donga Local Government Area in the state, is a recognition of his experience, hard work, and competence.

Governor Kefas stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made an excellent choice in selecting Mr Chira and assured him that the state will fully support the new appointee in his role.

“The new Auditor General is well-equipped for his new position. Mr. Chira is a highly accomplished individual with many years of invaluable experience.

“The appointment is undoubtedly a significant one, not only for the state but also for the Northeast region and the nation as a whole.

We will stand firmly behind the new appointee to ensure his success in this role,” the statement read.
