Sokoto CP charges 112 newly promoted officers to redouble efforts

The Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Ali Hayatu Kaigama, has charged newly promoted officers in the state not to be reluctant but to redouble their efforts in discharging their duties.

 

The CP stated this while decorating one hundred and Twelve (112) newly promoted Senior Police Officers of Sokoto State Police Command.

 

The CP said these are beneficiaries of the promotion released by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on 12th October 2023, from which Sokoto State Police Command benefited with one hundred and Twelve (112).

 

According to a press statement signed by the spokesman of the command, ASP Ahmad Rufa’i, includes “one Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) who was decorated with the rank of Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACP), Three (3) Superintendents of Police (SPs) ranks were decorated with the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police (CSPs). Three (3) Deputy Superintendent of Police to the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP)

 

” Others include One Hundred and Five  Assistant    Superintendents of Police  decorated with the new rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police.”

 

One of the officers decorated with the new rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), Aliyu Mukhtar Ambursa, from Veterinary.

 

Those promoted from the rank of Superintendent of Police to Chief Superintendent of Police include- Command Chief Imam Csp Abdullahi Mukhtar, 2-Csp Musa Sakaba DPO Dadin Kowa Division and 3-Csp Muhammad Dandare.

 

The CP thanked the  Inspector General of Police, Ag. IGP Kayode  Egbetokun,  the Police Service Commission and the beneficiaries themselves, ” because without commitment, struggle, as well as keeping clean records, this promotion would not have come.

 

“Furthermore, the promotees and other Officers here should know that promotion is from God and is a result of hard work, commitment, dedication, etc.

 

“Promotion comes with a higher task. Therefore, I charged you not to relent but to redouble your efforts while discharging your duties. Finally, I wish all invitees journey mercy back to their destinations.”

 

Speaking on behalf of the newly promoted Officers, newly decorated ACP Mukhtar Aliyu Ambursa stated “My immense gratitude is to Almighty Allah (SWT) for sparing our lives to witness this memorable occasion. I remain grateful to the Inspector General of Police, the  Police Service Commission,  and the Police Service Commission for this opportunity and honour to be promoted today.

 

” I want to assure the Inspector General of Police on behalf of all the newly promoted Officers of Sokoto State Police Command that we will remain committed and dedicated to the service of our fatherland; as to whom much is given, much is expected.”
