Appeal Court verdict: Kano CP warns against political protests, threatens stern action

Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Gumel, has said that the joint security operatives have been warned to deal ruthlessly with any political party(ies) or any individual who attempted or sponsored any protest in the state

The joint security operatives, which include police, military, immigration, customs, civil defence, and other security personnel, declared this while the Kano CP addressed a world press conference.

Gumel, who addressed the press on Monday on behalf of other security personnel at Police headquarters in Kano, said that they were on security alert to deal decisively
