JUST IN: Usman Ododo sworn in as Kogi Governor

Usman Ododo has been officially sworn in as the governor of Kogi State, succeeding Yahaya Bello, who completed his second term in office after months since his election.

The inauguration ceremony took place in Lokoja on Saturday, with Ododo taking the oath of office around 2:24 pm.

His inauguration came just minutes after Salifu Joel Oyibot took his oath of office as the deputy governor of Kogi State.
