VIDEO: Kaduna gov visits school, assures return of abductees

Kaduna state governor, Uba sani has assured efforts will be made to return the abducted children and teachers of LGEA primary School, Kuriga (1), Chikun local government area .

Governor Uba Sani, gave his assurances while addressing the press during his visit to the school.

Uba Sani said that his administration is working with all relevant security operatives to rescue the abducted persons back to their families.

“As of this moment, we have not been able to know the number of Children  that have been kidnapped but what I can say here is that by the grace of God, under my able leadership, we will try as much as possible to ensure that every child returns, by the grace of God, INSHA Allah.

“We shall do our best, I want to work with the community leaders, and the youths to ensure that every child returns back home by the grace of God.

“We have also sat down with the parents of those ,children who have been kidnapped.

“We are sending a strong message to the mothers that the one of the most important role of the government is to ensure the safety of lives and properties of its citizens.

“We will ensure that every child comes home safely.

“Just an hour ago, I discussed with the National Security Adviser (NSA) , Nuhu Ribadu and he has assured that they are working. And also spoke with the GOC , he also assured that they are also trying.

“The police and the DSS are working closely with the Kaduna state government under my leadership, to ensure that no child is left behind, Uba Sani assured.

The bandits invaded the school on Thursday, March 7, 2023,  at about 8:20 am, immediately after the morning assembly.
