The former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has admonished Nigerians, especially Kogites to remain steadfast in their prayers for the nation.
In his Easter message issued on Monday, he also urged the people to show love and extend hands of fellowship to one another, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political affiliations.
He expressed optimism that Nigeria would overcome its present challenges, stressing the need for all citizens to remain united and committed to the ideals of nation-building.
He noted that Easter, which commemorates the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, is a significant event that symbolizes hope, renewal, and victory over adversity.
Prince Kolawole urged Christians to imbibe and demonstrate the virtues of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and peaceful co-existence, which are the hallmarks of the Easter celebration.
