Niger South senator seeks constituents’ support for effective service delivery

Senator Peter Jiya, representing Niger South Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Abuja, called for the support of the constituents for effective service delivery during a gathering in Bida on Sunday.

Addressing party leaders and supporters at the Zonal meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held at his Senatorial Office in Bida, Senator Jiya emphasized the importance of working in the interest of the party and the well-being of the populace.

He commended party members for their ongoing support and urged them to prioritize unity and cooperation, stressing that bitterness and hate would hinder progress and development.

Senator Jiya reaffirmed his commitment to the progress of the party and the overall welfare of the people in Niger South Senatorial District. He urged everyone to uphold honesty and justice in their efforts to advance the district.

In his remarks, Senator Jiya underscored the significance of collective action and mutual respect in building a better society for all residents of the Senatorial District.

Also, members and stakeholders who spoke at the occasion stressed the need for speedy delivery of democratic dividends for the constituents in the Senatorial District.

Present at the occasion were former National Assembly members including former members Niger State House of Assembly and former political office holders in the state under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
