Kaduna APC appoints Naymesire as acting women leader

Barrister Francesca Naymarie Musa Akande, the Kaduna State Deputy Women Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has assumed the role of Acting State Women Leader of the party following the suspension of Hajiya Maryam Suleiman (Mai Rusau).

On Thursday, Barrister Francesca Naymarie received a warm welcome at the state party office, as a large number of APC women leaders from the 23 local government areas of Kaduna state, along with party supporters, gathered at the state party secretariat to welcome her.

Addressing the crowd, Barrister Francesca Naymarie called for all party members to put the past behind them and work together to support Governor Uba Sani’s administration in repositioning the party in the state.

She promised to give her best in serving the party and urged her colleagues in the state working committee not to resent her in case of any setbacks, as she aims for the collective good of the party.

According to her, “Now I am the acting State Women Leader and there are a lot of things that we are going to do to help the women in Kaduna state in the areas of Education, empowerment, the health sector and the warfare of APC women, I Promise to be the best APC women leader in Kaduna,” she added

In his remarks, Kaduna State APC Vice chairman in Charge of Zone 3 ( Southern Kaduna Senatorial District), Hon. Shehu Tafa, congratulated Barrister Francesca Naymarie as she takes over the mantle of leadership as state women leaders of the party, urging her to operate an Open door policy to enable the participation of Women in the affairs of the party.

He noted that “With this development and according to the APC constitution, it is now incumbent as the deputy state women leader to assume the office as the acting State Women Leader of the APC.”

Hon. Shehu Tafa emphasised the need for teamwork and encouraged the party’s supporters to really out to support Governor Uba Sani’s administration’s success.
