The Aiyedatiwa Youth and Students’ Support Group (AYSSG) has congratulated Ondo state Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his victory at Saturday’s All Progressives Congress (APC) primary, describing him as a master strategist.
The group stated this in a statement signed by its Coordinator and Publicity Secretary, Comrade Tayo Olibamoyo and Comrade Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, saying the landslide victory of Aiyedatiwa in the just concluded governorship primary of APC in the state is well-deserved.
According to them, Aiyedatiwa would tackle insecurity, revamp the economy, and provide good infrastructural facilities in the state, especially roads to enable farmers to bring their produce to market.
The statement reads: “We applaud Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the development and progress of our great state. His victory in the primaries is a testament to the trust and confidence the people of Ondo State have bestowed upon him.
“We also use this opportunity to appeal for reconciliation among all other contestants who participated in the primaries.

“This is a time for unity and solidarity within the party, as we join forces to support the chosen flag bearer, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

His leadership and impartiality during the primaries have contributed immensely to the success of the process.

Recall that Aiyedatiwa emerged as the standard-bearer of the APC, after securing a total vote of 48,569 out of 95,178 accredited voters, for the upcoming Ondo State Gubernatorial election in November 2024.
