The chairman, Chicago, United States of America Branch of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Olawale Ebietomiye visited the Ondo state governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa to congratulate him on his recent success at the APC primary election and present campaign materials towards his success in the November 16, 2024 governorship election.
Ebietomiye who was at the governor’s office on Thursday evening explained that the visit was necessary to congratulate the governor on the victory at the APC primary and as well offer more support to the governor in his efforts at transforming the state.
He added that citizens of the state in the diaspora are comfortable and impressed with the performances of the governor since he took over last year December, adding that his interventions at critical sectors in the state were encouraging and heartwarming.
He assured the governor that members of the diaspora would continue to support him in his efforts to develop the state, saying that everything possible would be deployed towards ensuring his success in the November election.
The APC chairman Chicago-USA branch, who expressed appreciation to the governor for receiving him despite his busy schedule, said the gesture has further demonstrated the governor’s humility and concern for the progress of the state.
He called on the people of the state to continue their support for the governor in his bid to place the state on the pedestal of socio-economic development, noting that Governor Aiyedatiwa has the expertise and the experience to move the state to higher level in all areas.
Responding, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended Ebietomiye and his team for the visit and support towards his administration since he took over last year, revealing that the materials donated would in no small measure helped his electioneering campaign.
He hailed the chairman for his commitment towards his success at the just concluded governorship primary election of the party, adding that his efforts were well noted and appreciated.
Aiyedatiwa advised him to galvanize his colleagues in the diaspora towards his success and that of the APC in the forthcoming governorship election.
