Onanuga slams Peter Obi for ‘demarketing’ Tinubu’s govt

A spokesperson for the Nigerian President, Bayo Onanuga, has criticised the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, for his continuous criticism of his principal, Bola Tinubu.

Onanuga, TRIBUNE ONLINE gathered, had called Obi a “bitter” person in his recent post.

This criticism follows Obi’s recent visit to Canada, where he criticised the failure of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) server during the last presidential election.

Obi has been vocal in recent times about holding the APC-led government accountable for its policies.

However, Onanuga has been a hardcore critic of Obi since the buildup to the 2023 general elections. Obi has also complained that the current administration, alongside its agencies, had resorted to calling him names and organizing town hall meetings for him.
