French President Macron may once more consider intervening in Kylian Mbappe’s potential transfer to Real Madrid.

Emmanuel Macron has voiced his reservations regarding Kylian Mbappe’s potential transfer to Real Madrid.

The French President expressed concerns about the striker’s participation in the Olympic Games, emphasizing the importance of allowing players to compete in such events. Macron revealed his discussions with Mbappe’s father, indicating the player’s desire to partake in the Olympics.

However, Real Madrid has reportedly decided against permitting its players, including Mbappe, to participate in the Olympics. This stance aims to ensure the player’s readiness for the pre-season with the club if the transfer materializes.

Macron’s involvement in Mbappe’s career decisions isn’t new, having previously intervened to discourage a move to Real Madrid in 2022. Despite his concerns, it seems Macron’s influence may be limited in Mbappe’s potential summer transfer.
