Lookman has been named Player of the Week in the Europa League.

Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman has clinched the UEFA Europa League Player of the Week award.

Lookman showcased his skills in Atalanta’s impressive 3-0 triumph over Olympic Marseille on Thursday night, earning him the accolade for the first time this season.

In the clash held at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, the 29-year-old contributed with one goal and one assist. His standout performance garnered the highest number of votes, surpassing AS Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar.

 

 

With a total of 20 goal involvements across all competitions for Atalanta this season (12 goals and eight assists), Lookman has been a pivotal figure for La Dea.

Atalanta is set to face newly crowned Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the final, scheduled to take place at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland, on Wednesday, May 22.
