Premier League: Guardiola suggests that if Manchester City fails to defeat Tottenham, Arsenal could claim the title.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that their chances of winning the Premier League title will diminish if they drop points against Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday.

City, aiming for an unprecedented fourth consecutive top-flight English league title, currently trail leaders Arsenal by one point but have a crucial game in hand.

A victory against Spurs would put Guardiola’s side in a position to secure the championship with another win at home against West Ham on the final day of the season on Sunday.

City have been in prolific form, scoring 28 goals in their last seven Premier League matches while conceding just five times.

Speaking at Monday’s pre-match press conference, Guardiola emphasized the importance of maintaining a winning mentality: “Scoring fifteen goals in four matches has been crucial for us to be in this position, but it won’t provide any advantage tomorrow when the game begins. Our mindset is simple: if we don’t win, we won’t win the Premier League, and that’s what we need to focus on.”
