Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has expressed his commitment to giving his all for manager Mauricio Pochettino to secure a European spot for the team.
As Chelsea aimed for at least a draw against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge on the final day of the campaign to secure sixth position, Palmer emphasized in a conversation with the club’s website that the players are determined to alleviate the pressure on Pochettino by achieving the required result against Bournemouth.
“It’s significant for us to have the opportunity to secure sixth place ourselves,” Palmer conveyed to Chelsea’s website. “We’re hopeful that we can achieve it. Chelsea is a prestigious club, and while everyone desires to finish higher than sixth, we need to acknowledge where we started the season and our journey throughout.”
