Premier League: Gallas exposes Chelsea’s misstep—no Champions League, no trophies.

William Gallas, the former Chelsea player, has highlighted a few missteps made by the club’s owner, Todd Boehly. However, the Frenchman remains optimistic about Chelsea’s resurgence.

Speaking to Genting Casino, the former French international expressed his belief that Boehly’s squad rebuilding efforts were rushed.

“In the 2022/23 season, finishing 12th meant they missed out on Champions League qualification, and they’ve missed out again this season despite significant spending,” Gallas stated.

“Despite signs of improvement, I still believe he hasn’t managed as well as he could have, and I think he’s made a few errors. When he took over the club, he lacked patience and made too many changes simultaneously.

“Spending a billion pounds on new players only to slip out of the Champions League without winning anything highlights these missteps,” he added.
