Barcelona Part Ways with Xavi Hernandez After Disappointing Season

Initially, Xavi had announced his resignation, but the club persuaded him to stay for the remainder of the season. However, there has been a remarkable U-turn from the Blaugrana leadership.
According to Pulse Sports, Barcelona will have to pay Xavi a severance package of around €20 million, a fee that would not have been necessary had he resigned as originally planned.
