FA Cup Final: ‘I Inherited a Mess at Man Utd’ – Ten Hag

In a candid assessment of his tenure, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag emphasized the ongoing project of transforming the team.

Speaking after his side’s 2-1 FA Cup final win over Manchester City on Saturday, Ten Hag insisted that the Red Devils were a mess when he arrived at Old Trafford.

The Dutchman expressed satisfaction with the team’s progress while acknowledging that there is still work to be done.

“I prepare my team and develop it. It’s a project,” Ten Hag stated in his post-match interview. He added, “When I arrived, I can say that it was a mess. Today, we’re better. We’re not where we want to be yet.”

Ten Hag’s future at Manchester United is uncertain, and he may leave the club after the FA Cup final.
