Napoli is poised to swap Victor Osimhen for Romelu Lukaku, contingent on one condition.

Reports suggest that Serie A outfit Napoli have set their sights on Romelu Lukaku as a potential replacement for Victor Osimhen. With the star forward’s departure looming this summer, Napoli is eyeing Lukaku, especially if they secure Antonio Conte as their next manager.

Currently on loan at AS Roma from Chelsea, Lukaku seems destined for a move away from Italy’s capital next season, with Napoli expressing strong interest. Corriere Della Sera indicates that Napoli is keen on the Belgian international to fill Osimhen’s shoes.

Despite being a Chelsea player, Lukaku has spent several seasons on loan in Italy, with Napoli now entering the frame as a potential destination. The potential arrival of Conte at Napoli could sway Lukaku’s decision, given their successful partnership during their time at Inter Milan.

Under Conte’s management at Inter, Lukaku experienced a resurgence after a challenging spell at Manchester United, showcasing his prowess with 23 league goals in the 2019/20 season.

Conte’s influence and Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen could further complicate matters, potentially involving Lukaku in a swap deal as part of Chelsea’s efforts to lure Osimhen to Stamford Bridge.
