He has it all – Man City’s Kyle Walker names the world’s best right-back.

Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has named Chelsea’s Reece James as the “best right-back in the world.”

Walker believes James possesses all the qualities a right-back should have.

Despite struggling with recurring injury issues, James has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top defenders since making his first-team debut for the Blues in September 2019.

Asked to name the best right-back in the world on the You’ll Never Beat Kyle Walker podcast, Walker said, “Reece James. He’s just got everything. If I could make the complete right-back, it would be him. He can defend, attack, he’s technical, can use both feet, he’s a threat in dead-ball situations, and he’s quick.”

James was named the new Chelsea captain following Cesar Azpilicueta’s departure at the end of last season.

The 24-year-old was a surprise omission from Gareth Southgate’s 33-man provisional England squad ahead of this summer’s Euros in Germany.
