Best Actor at AMVCA, Wale Ojo cries as he loses mum

Award-winning actor Wale Ojo has announced the death of his mother.

The British Nigerian star shared a photo of himself and mother on Instagram on Saturday morning, saying his world had crashed.

Expressing his grief, Wale said he would miss his mother terribly.

 

 

“My world has crashed all around me. Mama is gone. Goodnight Mum. I will miss you terribly, terribly,” he wrote.

Wale Ojo won Best Actor prize at the 2024 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) which took place on May 11 at Eko Hotel and Suites.

The 55-year-old scooped the award for his performance in Breath of Life.

After winning, he shared a photo of himself on Instagram with the words, “Mama I won”.
