Zinedine Zidane has expressed admiration for Real Madrid’s newest addition, predicting that the player will surpass all expectations.

Former Real Madrid midfielder and manager, Zinedine Zidane, has made a bold prediction about the future of the club’s latest signing, Kylian Mbappe.

Speaking in an interview with Telefoot, Zidane expressed his confidence that Mbappe would “surpass everyone” and leave an indelible mark at the club. Real Madrid officially announced the signing of the former Paris Saint-Germain superstar on a free transfer on June 3, as he joins the club upon the expiration of his PSG contract.

“Mbappe is here now. He will make history at the club, and I think he’ll surpass everyone,” Zidane stated.

Mbappe has already achieved remarkable success in his senior career, boasting an impressive record of 256 goals and 108 assists in 308 games across all competitions during his seven-year tenure at PSG. He holds the title of PSG’s all-time top scorer and ranks as the French national team’s third-highest goalscorer of all time, with 47 goals in 78 appearances.

Additionally, Mbappe played a pivotal role in France’s FIFA World Cup victory in 2018 and delivered a memorable hat trick in the final of the 2022 edition, although France fell short to Argentina and Lionel Messi on penalties.

Moreover, Mbappe has taken on the responsibility of captaining the national side, succeeding Hugo Lloris after his retirement following the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup. With such an impressive track record and leadership qualities, Mbappe’s arrival at Real Madrid heralds a promising era for the club, as predicted by Zidane.
