Despite his role in City’s treble-winning squad, he is no longer a guaranteed starter and has faced on-field challenges under Guardiola. Aston Villa and Chelsea are rumored suitors, especially after his omission from England’s Euro 2024 squad.
2. Stefan Ortega: Despite impressing as Ederson’s understudy, Ortega remains second choice at best. He has hinted at potential interest from Bundesliga clubs like Eintracht Frankfurt but is cautious about his next move.
3. Bernardo Silva: While a trusted player under Guardiola, Silva has expressed interest in joining Barcelona, following the paths of Gundogan and Cancelo. With less time left on his contract, a move to Barcelona seems more plausible this summer.
4. Kalvin Phillips: Signed to provide midfield cover, Phillips struggled to secure playing time and was loaned to West Ham, where he also faced challenges. Leeds United has shown interest in re-signing their academy graduate.
