Euro 2024: French forward criticizes N’Golo Kante, calling him ‘horrible’.

France forward Marcus Thuram has remarked that teammate N’Golo Kante has been formidable to face in training sessions.

Thuram shared his thoughts ahead of France’s Euro 2024 opener against Austria on Monday.

Kante played a pivotal role in France’s World Cup triumph in 2018.

Having been absent from the national team for two years, the former Chelsea midfielder was recalled by head coach Didier Deschamps for Les Bleus’ Euro 2024 campaign this summer.

Currently with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad at 33 years old, Thuram humorously commented during a press conference on Saturday, “I feel like there were three of him at Clairefontaine! I’ve never seen anything like it, it’s challenging, we can’t play against him in training.”

“In all seriousness, N’Golo is incredible, and this week he reminded us why he’s one of the best midfielders globally. We’re thrilled to have him with us,” Thuram added.
