Bruno Fernandes remarked that England’s only hope of defeating Portugal is in FIFA or FC 24, ahead of a potential matchup at UEFA Euro 2024.
The Manchester United captain made this playful comment during a recent video for Pro:Direct Soccer, stating with a smile, “The only thing I have to say is that this [on FIFA] is the only chance England have of beating Portugal.”
England secured their spot in the quarterfinals after a 2-1 victory over Slovakia in the round of sixteen of the tournament on Sunday. Meanwhile, Portugal, following their defeat to Georgia in the final Group F match, will face Slovenia in the round of 16 on Monday night.
