Saidi Balogun and Faithia Williams, a former couple in Nollywood, won over many hearts with their kind gesture during the actress’s father’s funeral.
In April, Gossipinfo revealed that Faithia’s father had passed away. She sent a notice of his passing on her Instagram page, expressing her condolences and asking for peace for his departed spirit. A week later, the actress wrote a thank-you statement to the public and buried him in accordance with Islamic tradition in front of a few of her colleagues.
Faithia, on Sunday, held the final burial of his burial, and her ex-husband, Saidi Balogun, was one of the many guests in attendance. In a video posted online, Saidi Balogun was spotted at the event as he discussed with one of the guests.
Another video from the burial ceremony showed the actor on stage with Faithia Williams as he rained money on her.

As she apologized to her fans, the Yoruba actress startled many by referring to herself by her previous married name, Faithia Williams Balogun.
The couple was married at an Ikorodu register more than 20 years ago, and they got divorced four years later.
Their divorce was rather nasty, and among other things, Saidi asked that Faithia stop calling him Balogun. He informed the court he could not live under the same roof with his divorced wife because of irreconcilable differences.
The former couple have made peace, as on Faithia’s birthday in February, Saidi Balogun sent a sweet birthday note to her, showering her with love and prayers. Faithia had also done the same as she sweetly celebrated Saidi Balogun’s birthday.
