Chelsea has terminated Malang Sarr’s contract, allowing him to join RC Lens as a free agent from the Premier League club. Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano announced this development on Monday.
Romano reported on X: “Malang Sarr departs Chelsea as a free agent after terminating his contract to join RC Lens. The split between Sarr and Chelsea is finalized, as reported by L’Équipé. Medical tests are underway and the defender’s contract will be signed today.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United has submitted their initial bid for Matthijs de Ligt of Bayern Munich. According to BILD, the Bundesliga side has turned down the offer, which was around €35M. Bayern is holding out for €50M plus add-ons to consider selling De Ligt.
