The Senator representing Niger East Senatorial District in the National Assembly Abuja Senator Mohammed Sani Miss has advised the organisers and participants of planned nationwide protests in the next couple of days against hunger and rising cost of living including the soaring prices of food items in the markets to embrace peace and dialogue with the government, adding that dialogue is the paramount instrument for resolving the differences between the government and some aggrieved citizens in addressing their grievances.
Senator Sani Musa, CON stated this in a Press statement issued and made available to Journalists over the weekend in Minna stressing that he acknowledged the frustrations and concerns that have necessitated this clarion call, saying, we firmly believe that constructive engagement with the government, rather than confrontation, is the most effective means of achieving our objectives and propelling our nation towards stability and prosperity.

According to him, ” l wish to commend His Excellency, the Niger State Governor, Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, for his leadership qualities and steadfastness in remodeling and enabling a New Niger, with all the indices showing a brighter outlook for infrastructural and agricultural revolution “.
“I also commend and appreciate His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his unwavering commitment to stabilising our nation and addressing the myriad of challenges that confront us”.
Similarly, Senator Sani Musa applauded the leadership of the Senate, led by the President of the Senate, HIS Excellency, Senator Godswill Akpabio, GCON, for their unrelenting efforts to foster economic growth and ensure that the dividends of democracy are equitably distributed among our citizenry.
He stated that “In this spirit, I entreat all my constituents in particular and Nigerians in general, to rally behind the government’s initiatives and work collaboratively towards a more harmonious and prosperous Niger East, Niger State, and Nigeria”.
” Let us eschew actions that may undermine our collective progress. We must resist any temptation to protest that will derail our progress and instead engage in meaningful dialogue that will yield lasting solutions to our challenges and efforts”.
He said that the prosperity we seek can only be achieved and realized in a peaceful atmosphere.
