Anambra Governor, Charles Soludo has given out his first daughter, Adaora Soludo in marriage to Mr Arinze Ibekwe, an indigene of Odoje village, in Onitsha North Local Government Area of the State.
Nigerian Tribune gathered that the Traditional Marriage took place at Isuofia community in Aguata Local Government Area of the State, on Saturday.
The Traditional rite was formally performed after the payment of dowry to the bride’s family.
It was also gathered that the white wedding will take place at Abuja next week.
Speaking shortly after receiving the dowry, from the groom, governor Soludo wished the couple a blessed/fruitful marriage and enjoined them to respect all Traditional and Christian matrimonial rites to raise a happy and blissful family members that would sustained the Soludo’s legacy.
In his short speech with the press after the event, Spokeperson of the family, Mr Oseloka Oranusi, assure Soludo and his wife Mrs Nonye Soludo that their daughter will be well taking care of.
Adaora secured a Master’s degree in management from Imperial College Business School. She also obtained a diploma in fashion communications from Conde Nast College of Fashion and Design both in London.
Her siblings were also present during the event.
