Ikimi heads PDP 26-man disciplinary committee

 

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a 26-man  disciplinary committee headed by former foreign affairs minister, Chief Tom Ikimi.

The National Working Committee (NWC) formed the committee following the approval granted by the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC).

It comes at the heel of the setting up of the National Reconciliation Committee headed by former Osun State governor, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola.

Both committees are to be inaugurated on Wednesday next week.

A statement issued on Saturday by Debo Ologunagba, National Publicity Secretary, listed the members of the disciplinary committee to include Ibrahim Shekarau, Chief Olabode George, Margaret Icheen, Dr. Sam Egwu, Abubakar Kawu Baraje, Maxwell Okudo (BoT), Effiong Bob, Abdullahi Idris Umar and Olaka Nwogu.

Others are Mohammed Ogoshi Onawo, Gen. Aminu Bande (Rtd), Mohammed Imam, Chile Igbawua, Mahe Dange, Patrick Ifon, Tahir A. Shehu, Nuhu A. Bajoga, and Emmanuel Ibeshi.

The rest are Haj. Zainab Maina,  Mrs. Aduke Maina, P.G.U.  Madu, Abiodun Abdul Rahim, tepresentative of Bayelsa State, Jacob Otorkpa (Administrative Secretary) and Eyitayo Jegede is secretary.
