Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has hinted that Pedro Neto could make his debut in Chelsea’s opening match against Manchester City on Sunday.
In a statement on the club’s website, Maresca confirmed that Neto might feature in the game, though he remained unclear about whether Neto would start or come off the bench.
Neto joined Chelsea from Wolves last weekend, signing a long-term contract before the match against Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca noted, “Pedro’s physical condition is go⁰od; however, he has only been with us for the last two or three days, so he will need some time to adapt to our style of play. He is fit, but whether he starts or is on the bench will be decided closer to tp0 r⁰he game.”00000⁰
