Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has cautioned that his team could face challenges this season after a disappointing start on Sunday. The reigning La Liga and Champions League champions were held to a 1-1 draw by Mallorca in their opening match of the season.
Rodrygo gave Real Madrid an early lead in the 13th minute, but Vedat Muriqi equalized for Mallorca in the 53rd minute, securing a point for the home team.
After witnessing his side struggle against the newly promoted team, Ancelotti expressed his concerns to reporters, saying, “We lacked balance. I’m not happy with the draw because we could have done better. We needed more attitude. We can learn a lot from this game, as it clearly shows where we could encounter problems.”
