Transfer: “Let’s see what happens” – Van Dijk hints at a possible Liverpool departure.

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk has suggested he might leave the Premier League club when his current contract expires at the end of this season.

Despite the uncertainty, the Dutch defender has expressed that he is not worried about his contract situation.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Van Dijk said, “I’m very calm about my future. I want to have another great season and continue to be an important player for the club. What happens next? We’ll see, but I’m not concerned. There’s no reason for me to think about anything else right now because I have the entire season ahead of me.

“Regardless of what happens, Anfield will always have a special place in my heart. It’s been a successful journey. Let’s see what the future holds.”
