Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag will be without Mason Mount for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Liverpool.
Mount has sustained a minor muscle injury, which will keep him out of the key match at Old Trafford. The former Chelsea midfielder shared the news on social media, stating:
“During the last game, I picked up a minor muscle issue. I’ll be out for a few games. I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be and felt sharp and ready. I wanted you to hear it from me how frustrated I am.”
Mount has appeared in United’s first two league matches against Fulham and Brighton.
