Transfer Deadline Day: Arsenal Set Two Conditions for Signing Sterling from Chelsea

Arsenal are prepared to sign Raheem Sterling from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, but they have set two key conditions.

According to the UK Independent, Arsenal want Chelsea to terminate Sterling’s contract, as they are unwilling to pay a fee for the 29-year-old, who still has three years remaining on his current deal and earns £325,000 a week.

Additionally, Arsenal require Sterling to agree to a significant pay cut.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who is familiar with Sterling from their time together at Manchester City, is eager to work with the England international again.
