The new equipment was first used during the match between Rangers and El-Kanemi Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Saturday, which ended in a goalless draw.

This match was the only NPFL fixture played over the weekend, with the rest of the matchday one games scheduled for next week.

Torizone also recalled that NFF President Ibrahim Gusau had pledged to introduce these technical gadgets during the referees’ seminar in Abuja.
