Deputy Senate President sponsors 70 students for AI-robotics technology abroad

In a significant move to promote academic excellence and technological advancement, Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau Jibrin, has sponsored 70 students for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics Technology programs in foreign countries.

According to a statement signed by his Special Media Adviser, Alhaji Ismaila Mudasir, the Senator’s Foundation, Barau I Jibrin Foundation (BIJF), secured admissions for the students in AI, Robotics Technology, Cybersecurity, and Forensic Science.

Senator Jibrin emphasised that the program is part of his efforts to promote academic excellence and stimulate Nigeria’s technological advancement.

“My foundation is committed to providing opportunities for deserving students to acquire cutting-edge skills and knowledge,” he said.

The scholarship programme is expected to enhance Nigeria’s capacity in AI, Robotics, and related fields, ultimately contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.
