“Carlo Ancelotti Issues Warning to Kylian Mbappe and Endrick About Real Madrid Standards”

Carlo Ancelotti has issued a reminder to Kylian Mbappe and Endrick about the high standards expected at Real Madrid.

Mbappe joined Madrid this summer on a high-profile free transfer, while Endrick completed his move in July upon turning 18. The duo has already experienced winning silverware, securing the Super Cup against Atalanta. However, dropped points in two of the first four La Liga games highlight the challenges ahead.

Real Madrid defeated Real Betis 2-0 before the international break, with Mbappe scoring a brace to open his La Liga account. Madrid now aims to close the gap on Barcelona, who have won all four of their league matches under new manager Hansi Flick.

Ancelotti, who recently appointed Stockport County assistant coach Andy Mangan, emphasized the high expectations for all Real Madrid players, including Mbappe and Endrick, who he says are “adapting very well” to their new environment.

At a conference in Mexico, Ancelotti stated, “Real Madrid has very high standards because it’s the biggest club in the world. You have to bring your quality to the service of the club. This year, new players like Kylian and Endrick are adapting well. We aim to have a great season and compete in every competition. Winning is tough, but our duty is to compete in every game and never give up.”

Endrick has also started to make his mark, scoring in a 3-0 win over Real Valladolid, although he has had limited first-team minutes, reflecting the depth of quality at Ancelotti’s disposal.
