Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, has claimed that Victor Osimhen “dives too much.”
Osimhen, who recently joined Galatasaray on a season-long loan from Napoli, will now compete directly with Fenerbahce for the Turkish League title.
Mourinho, who took charge of Fenerbahce in June after being sacked by AS Roma, had faced Osimhen several times during his Roma vs. Napoli encounters.
Speaking to HT Spor, Mourinho said, “The last time we played against him in a Roma vs Napoli match, I had a conversation with him. I told Osimhen, ‘You are one of the best players in Africa, along with Salah. Before, there were legends like Drogba, Eto’o, and Weah. You can’t be diving.’”
Mourinho added, “He dives too much, and that’s my issue with him. But after 10 minutes, we are fine.”
