“I’ve got lots of opportunities” — Former England manager Southgate discusses his next move.

Former England manager Gareth Southgate has expressed that he is in no hurry to return to work and is open to exploring opportunities both within and outside football.

The 54-year-old stepped down after England’s Euro 2024 final defeat to Spain and was linked with the Manchester United job over the summer. However, Southgate emphasized his desire to take a break and recharge.

Speaking to Sky News, he said: “I’ve got lots of opportunities, and I’m very open-minded about what’s next. That could be in football or outside of football. I’m going to take some time to refresh, recharge, and then see where things go from there.”
