Carlo Ancelotti has criticized the organizers of the Ballon d’Or for failing to include a significant player in the shortlist.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his disappointment that Rodrygo was not included in the 30-man shortlist for this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Ancelotti emphasized that Rodrygo is an “important” player who deserved to be nominated.

“For sure, Rodrygo should have been among the nominees for the Ballon d’Or, no doubt,” Ancelotti stated. “I understand his disappointment; he’s right. For me, he’s an important player, and there are no issues.”

Real Madrid has the most players on the list, including notable names like Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.
