“I was the one who chose to walk out of my marriage, best decision ever” – Tonto Dikeh says as she shares advice she gave to a single mother

Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh made fun of Olakunle Churchill, her ex-husband, when she provided some advice with another single mother.

Concerned about how she managed to deal with her ex-husband leaving her and their children, the single mother had secretly gotten in touch with her. She called herself a nobody hoping to become someone soon, and she asked the movie actress what advice she had for her.

“Good morning ma, please ma, I have a question. How were u able to cope when u and ur ex-husband left u with your child? If there is any advice am ready to learn. I am a nobody aiming to be somebody soon”.

Replying to her, Tonto corrected her that she was the one who left the marriage for her and her son’s sake and it was the best decision she made. She told the woman that she has the power to become the person she aspires to be as long as she commits to growth and invests in herself.

“Good morning,

First and foremost, I was the one who chose to walk away from my marriage, not the other way around. I needed to escape a difficult situation, not just got my own sake, but for my child as well. Best decision I ever made.

Remember, you have the power to become the person you aspire to be, as long as you commit to your growth and invest in yourself. Prioritize the well-being of your children while seeking guidance and strength from God. Sometimes the end of the road is the beginning of your blessings, but please, if your marriage is worth it, fight for your home.
Take care”.

Sharing the message on her Instagram page, she penned a note to single mothers, noting how she doesn’t have a manual to these things, nor is she a pro in it. However, her biggest teacher is love, and she just lets God do his things and draws her strength from Him.

“Dear single mothers,
I don’t have a manual for these things.
I am neither a pro in this movement.
My biggest teacher has been LOVE.
I just let God do his thing, and his thing is enough for me.
Draw strength from God, most especially keep your family matters private”.
