Okpehbolo’s victory, signature of popularity, visibility — Plateau APC

All Progressives Congress (APC) Plateau State chapter has stated that the victory of the party in the Saturday governorship election in Edo State is not only a political mileage for the people of Edo alone, but a signature of the party’s popularity and visibility across the country.

The party, in a statement signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Shittu Bamaiyi, posited that it is heartwarming and fulfilling that despite the so-called incumbency factor, the people of Edo State rose against all odds by calling the bluff of the PDP in voting Senator Okpebholo of the APC.

“The victory of the APC in Edo State is undoubtedly inspiring and reassuring, particularly to those states that are presently not controlled by the party.

“The APC in Plateau State is therefore encouraged and energised by the outcome of last Saturday’s election, and it is of the belief that with concerted efforts and unity of purpose, all things are possible,” it stated.

It commended the National Secretariat of the APC for properly coordinating the campaign process that led to the victory and expressed the hope that such efforts would be replicated when similar situations arise.
