Done – Manchester United have agreed to a £54.6 million deal for their Seleção star.

Manchester United have secured their key player with a new long-term contract following months of speculation.

The Red Devils have officially confirmed that Bruno Fernandes has signed a deal extending to 2027, with an option for an additional year.

Reports suggest Fernandes is now among the top earners at Old Trafford, having received a significant pay increase. According to The Sun, the new contract will see Fernandes earning approximately £350,000 a week, totaling £54.6 million over the next three years. This is a substantial rise from his previous salary of around £220,000 a week.

The 29-year-old midfielder, who has been a consistent performer since his January 2020 transfer from Sporting CP, fully deserves this increase. Recently, Fernandes played a crucial role in the Community Shield, assisting in the opening goal and scoring in the penalty shootout against Manchester City.

Manchester United’s season begins with a match against Fulham tomorrow night, and fans will be hoping Fernandes delivers another standout performance to secure all three points.
