Tambuwal commiserates with Sokoto LG over bandit attack

Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has commiserated with the people of the Tureta local government area of Sokoto over the recent bandits attack in one of the communities in the local government area.

Tambuwal, a former governor of the state now a Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, visited Tureta Local Government Area on Monday to commiserate with the people over the recent devastating banditry attacks and flooding that ravaged the area.

Senator Tambuwal, in his remarks, expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in the brutal attacks, which also resulted in kidnappings and massive livestock theft.

“I am here to sympathize with those affected by the flood, which destroyed hundreds of houses and properties, leaving many homeless.

“My appeal to the people of this community is to continue supporting and cooperating with the authorities and security agencies to restore peace and stability in the area.

“There is need for collective efforts to combat the security challenges facing this region”

Regarding the flooding, Senator Tambuwal assured the affected individuals that his office, in collaboration with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), will provide relief materials after assessing the damages.

“This move aims to alleviate the suffering of the affected people and support their recovery efforts”.
